Excellent pub/restaurant serving quality drinks and food menu. We popped in with our children whilst staying at a local campsite. The roast dinners are amazing!! We also had a take a takeaway to have back at the caravan. Family friendly, parking somewhat difficult! Better if you can walk there. Traditional pub - one of a kind
Honestly... just incredible!! The food was absolutely insanely good and the atmosphere and service was just as good as the food!! It was so wholesome and everyone was really welcoming. Definitely worth it and will definitely come back! The waitresses was very funny and lovely people! Thank you so much for such a lovely evening
Outstanding top quality food. Chips are some the best I ever had! Service is also extremely friendly and polite. Reservations definitely recommended and also there is a nearby church for parking as the sign outside the pub does ask to avoid parking on the narrow street next to the pub. Parking at the pub is very limited. One minor issue was that we ordered 3 portions of fish and chips for our table, and as I said it was tasty but for nearly £19 per portion the fish itself was quite small and we felt it was a little stingy. Other that we had a lovely dinner and would recommend this as a nice place for an evening meal.
Wow what a place… The staff are outstanding and so too is the food. Spent at week in Poughill and visited here five times. Ate fish and chips Sirloin steak And the brisket burger x 2!!! Can’t rate the place highly enough They make you feel so welcome

Looking for something to eat after the @Sosimplebaits 2day fishing comp, called the pub and they found us a table, as soon as we walked in was made to feel welcome. The lager was cold and the food is awesome. If you are in the area or not go find it, I can assure you, you will go back. Thank you all the staff your doing a fantastic Job. From table 7
First time going here it has a small car park but you can park down the road. We went on a Thursday for my daughters birthday meal and we were shocked to see the place was so busy for a week day, which is also great to see as to me it means its a good place to be. We felt very welcomed, staff all very helpful and friendly. Food was lovely all 7 of us enjoyed each meal. We only had the mains beef burger, chicken burger, fish and chips could not fault. We will hopefully return in the future.
